All that support is dependent on the Solo market Xiro is on the cliff in Xiro XPLORER Flight Control USA consumer drone market While not an open source vehicle their drones are Xiro XPLORER Flight Control capable of good videography Also if the previous posts are correct about the 4K Xplorer then Xiro is allowing nice upgrades to older models Their problem is they are not making things available in the USA Control authority and roaming freedom step upward as you switch to level 2 and level 3.
The Xiro smartphone app provides a real-time interface with the camera and quad, including video downlink with very low latency. GPS is always active as long as satellites can be linked.
Indicators on the face of the transmitter and the app screen let you know whether you have GPS lock or not. When insufficient satellites can be found, all GPS-reliant functions such as position-hold, Return Home, waypoints, etc.

Additionally, the system will not allow you to take off in flight level 1 without GPS. Every time I've turned on the Xplorer for a flight thus far, I've had GPS lock within a few seconds and it has never dropped out. This gets the quad off the ground about 3 feet and parks it in a stable hover. Otherwise, you can just advance the throttle to get Xiro XPLORER Flight Control.
The reverse is true for landing. The Xplorer is a very gentle flyer in the level 1 setting.
This is ideal for low-time pilots still learning the ropes Xiro XPLORER Flight Control I think all pilots should start out with a GPS-free mini quad. Level 1 is also good for capturing smooth video. Most of the filming that I have done with the Xplorer has been in level 1. The sedate control response has helped me hone my skills for complex shots; such as where I am yawing the quad while simultaneously changing the pitch angle on the camera.
This is the first AP ship I've flown where I felt comfortable doing such things with a stock flight setting. While level 2 and level 3 broaden the Xplorer's flight envelope, I would hesitate to call it "sporty". Even in level 3 it is somewhat tame.

I don't intend that as a knock against the Xplorer. As an AP platform, level 3 speed and maneuverability is about as aggressive as I can imagine ever needing.
Numerous camera parameters can be adjusted in the app, but I am happy with the default settings. I am super impressed by the low latency of the wi-fi-based video downlink. Most Xiro XPLORER Flight Control the time, the image on the screen is less than a second behind the camera.

I've found this to be true even when the Xplorer is far away. Low video latency can make all the difference between a successful shoot and total frustration. This system has been super for me.

Just keep in mind that there is no direct camera interface built into the "G" model of the Xplorer. So you won't get the benefits of the low-latency downlink and camera control functions in the Xiro app if you choose that model Xiro XPLORER Flight Control the Xplorer. I have only shot video in p resolution.
At some point, I'll try p as well. With numerous quads on the market equipped with 4K-capable cameras, any camera had better bring a strong game…and I think Xiro's little cube does just that. I've left all of the camera parameters in the stock settings and I'm really impressed with the Xiro XPLORER Flight Control quality that I'm getting.
