The mouse consistently exceeded my expectations and beat the crap out of any other input device I've come across. The only time the MX was unhappy was when I tried to use it on my freshly cleaned glass table.
However, glass is extremely problematic for optical mice. The tiny pictures needed for tracking simply come out poorly. Again, with the mouse on my pad I didn't encounter any tracking errors, slowdown, or general inaccuracies.
Since this will mostly be read by gamers I should mention that not all buttons will work with all gamers. The initial release had Logitech Cordless MX Duo compatibility issues, but the newer MouseWare fixes many problems. While you might not be able to use every button, the overall mouse performance makes this shortcoming somewhat acceptable.
