What that task is depends on how successful the laptop is. One laptop that lasts you 10 hours as a typewriter is better than a laptop lasting 4 - if you wanted a typewriter.
While another laptop that lasts you two hours of excellent portable gaming performance is still better than the typewriter - for a gaming laptop.
